Neteller ditches more gambling players

NETeller Ends Business with Canada and Turkey

The United States authorities have obviously been using the red hot pokers and water torture devices successfully - as their recent actions against Neteller seem to have convinced the once high-flying payments processor to exit two more popular countries.

NETeller announced today that it would no longer deal with transfers for online gambling sites for Canadian or Turkish residents due to "regulatory risks".

A statement was released saying "Recent actions by regulators, payment processors, and online gaming operators have increased the uncertainty around certain activities related to online gambling in some jurisdictions".

"The risk to the group's ongoing business in Canada and Turkey has increased in the light of such developments. The board has therefore concluded that the group will no longer process transfers related to online gambling sites on behalf of Canada or Turkey resident customers."

I've been saying since December that Neteller are a dead duck. Get your cash out of this company as soon as possible - they have absolutely no gumption at all.

The most viable option (for non-US customers) is MoneyBookers e-wallet, which seems to function very well as a sports gambling e-wallet for online players.
