Ajax thrash PSV 4-1 to close gap, but Twente still lead Dutch Eredivisie

Twente 3-1 Den Haag

Leaders FC Twente recovered from an early setback to extend their club-record unbeaten run to 28 games as they beat ADO Den Haag 3-1.

Wesley Verhoek's first-minute goal was cancelled out by Bryan Ruiz's brace before Kenneth Perez rounded off victory for Steve McClaren's side.

Ajax Amsterdam 4-1 PSV Eindhoven

Ajax moved to within a point of second-placed PSV Eindhoven after thrashing their title-rivals 4-1 in Amsterdam.

Siem De Jong, Urby Emanuelson and Marko Pantelic put the hosts in complete control midway through the second half.

A Balazs Dzsudzsak penalty reduced the arrears with three minutes to go but Ajax had the final say when the prolific Luis Suarez made it 4-1.

Feyenoord 1-1 Heracles

Fourth-placed Feyenoord were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Heracles Almelo.

Everton gave the visitors the lead after 82 minutes but the Rotterdammers hit back to salvage a point thanks to Ron Vlaar.
