Boston Bruins win the Stanley Cup - winning Game 7 in Vancouver

After 39 years without a championship, the Boston Bruins won the Stanley Cup winning Game Seven 4-0 in Vancouver to earn the right to call themselves champions.

Goalkeeper Tim Thomas was just too good, saving 238 of 246 Vancouunver shots during the series (94.7% save percentage) and the Boston Bruins are the NHL's best.

The Boston Bruins are the first team in NHL history to win a Game 7 three times in the same postseason, and Thomas posted shutouts in the decisive game of the Eastern Conference finals and the Stanley Cup finals.

The Cup is headed back to the Hub of Hockey for the first time since 1972.
